V70 car audio question... V70-XC70

Hello all.

I own a V70 with an HU-803 audio unit and very nice it is too!

However I am wanting to add an extra input to it so that I can plug the likes of a laptop and portable MP3 player and play them through the system. ie - I want a 3mm jack somewhere around the cockpit to plug into. I have consulted my local Volvo dealer about this who basically said that it wasn't possible although the HU-803 is built to take a CD changer at which point they went a bit vague!

My question is, has anyone had any luck in modifying their unit anywhere other than at a Volvo garage or indeed is there anything I could teach my local dealer about doing the job I want?

Many thanks in advance if you can help.

James
