flame traps 850

I've been a dealer master tech for yrs, been in Volvo dealers since the early 80s and although I know some people remove them, Volvo has never published any TSB telling techs to remove them (clean or replace only).
ALLDATA is not related to Volvo and from what I'm gathering here at this site, seems to have some false info. ALLDATA TSB #s do not relate to ANY Volvo TSB #, not even close and I don't have access to ALLDATA as I don't need to.

I'm not convinced that completely removing the flame trap is a good idea.
