DO NOT throw a match into the gas tank! NO! NO! NO! S80

Hi Phil,
I agree that Volvo should do more than what they are doing (nothing) about their problem cars but they simply do not care. I went through all sorts of crap with my S90 with absolutely no help from the dealer or Volvo NA. If they had tried even a little bit I would have given them the benefit of the doubt. As far as buying back the cars, lemon laws vary widely by state with my state (AZ) having one heavily weighted in favor of the dealers and manufacturers. Since opting for a Toyota in 2001 I've been very happy, no problems, no service issues and no breakdowns. I see posts on this board all the time about Toyotas and such being unexciting to drive. There isn't a great deal of excitement involved in being stranded on the shoulder or waiting for your car to be repaired all the time. Just before my S90 became someone else's nightmare I did find an independent shop that helped a great deal. The car was still undependable but I was treated with some courtesy. Thanks for listening.
