Cental lock system fuse blown - car wouldn't start!!! V70-XC70

Trouble with my 98 V70 last weekend during hot afternoon. First the remote lock unlocked the driver side but then wouldn't unlock all other locks. So manually unlocked all other doors. Then car would not start - all other electrical stuff was working. Finally figured out that the fuse for central lock system was blown. Replaced fuse and car started right up. Lock system works fine now, however am not using to avoid this problem again. Since blew when hitting button on remote lock pad after first hit seems like it may be related to other door or back hatch (i.e. not the drivers door lock). Any suggestions on how to trouble shoot this or what maintenance needs to be done so this is not a repeating problem?
