The OEM part is removed and replaced using a press. I've done it
myself using a small hand press I had laying around and a few plumbing
parts jury-rigged to press out the old part. Others report cutting out
the part and pressing in a new one using a setup of a bolt with some large
washers. I believe the mount has a flange at one side so you press
out of the flange and into it. The part also has an arrow on it indicating
whch side faces up (orientation counts).
Some people report the solid bushings pass more vibration into the
car; others say they don't.
