hmmmm 850 1993

Matt,

I fixed my 93 850 seat back cable too,

the problem is the cable it self is too short, you need to cut the housing
down 1/4, I melted the plastic housing enough to pull the end cap off with a lighter, than pulled out the cable enough so I could trim back the plastic housing.
I than heated up the housing with a light so I could get the cap back on,
this gives you more sqaure end to go into the female end of the motor,

My works perfect,
