Transmission cooler: Any experience? S70

Did anyone install a transmission cooler on 850/S60/70? My transmission shifts a little hard, as the fluid gets hotter. I want to cool it a little bit.

I spoke to dealers and they are ok with any pressure drop by adding a cooler.

I checked B&M Racing coolers but saw no difference compare to others except looks.

I like to add a stacked-plate cooler (size: 8”x11x3/4” from bulkpart.com, they have good prices) and install it with rubber hoses (easier than pipe fittings).

My dilemma is location. Installing it behind the front grill seems a bad idea because rubber hoses are not as durable compare to metal fittings. Right near the driver side fog light has quite a bit of space but I would rather take the fender off to access that location but the mud guard is riveted to the fender. Other choices are next to the battery or in front of the radiator fan.

Any experience will be appreciated. Thanks.
