How can I prepare for rough road driving.....nothing more really 850

Just to be clear, I'm not "off roading" per se, but I do a lot of backpacking and the trailhead access points are often up unimproved roads, meaning rocks, ruts, and washboards. I've been fine so far apart from the skid plate, and I hear you about the radiator, which has already ben replaced once, but still wonder if I am just asking for trouble (probably am) but would like to know if there are things I can do to minimize my risk...

thanks for the response!

matt b.
