Flame Trap replacement 850 1994

You've checked for both fuel (2) and ignition (6) fault codes? If you have a vacuum hose off or cracked that goes anywhere near the EGR controller (on upper radiator panel), you'ld get an EGR flow code which is an ignition code (6).
Otherwise, check pin 1 for trans codes. If you have a trans code, try clearing it before assuming that there's a new problem (could be intermittant PNP switch code).
