noisy tappets - please HELP!!!! 850

i had my new 850 t5 serviced a week ago by volvo at 70,000 miles, but in the mornings when i start it from cold, i can hear the tappets rattling!!!

it only happens for about a second and doesn't happen when hot or left for several hours, the oil level is good and the temperature is never less than 20oC in the morning (were having our summer in the UK!!!)

i know the manual says this is normal BUT my old 850 didn't do this and that had over 100,000 miles on it and my dads s80 doesn't do it.

any ideas?? thanks.
