Performance Exhaust S70 1998

Hi,

My factory exhaust is starting to go ... ( which is good b/c it gives me a good
excuse to change it ) ... I am thinking about going to a more sportier exhaust.

I talked to my Volvo dealership this morning and they wanted me ...

$ 270 Cdn for the factory S70 GLE exhaust
+ $ 80 Cdn for the chrome exhaust tip
-----
Too much for a factory system

I am not sure which one to go. I have a friend who just installed a Magnaflow exhaust on his '00 Neon LX sedan and it sounded really nice. But then I got a
friend who installed a Borla exhaust on his Volvo 850 sedan and it too sounded
nice. The finally, I got a third friend who got an Ipd sport exhaust on his
1997 850 T-5R sedan and that sounded nice too.

I know for a fact that all three performance exhaust systems will give me a
slightly better performance and all three tips looks quite nice. I'm NOT looking for any of those loud, stupid GReddy-type exhaust, but something that has a sporty sound, and looks close to the factory appearance.

Should I go with Borla, Magnaflow, or Ipd ? ... BTW, I am not sure whether Ipd
even makes a sport exhaust system for non-turbo Volvo's ? ... Any opinions ???

TIA,

---
