Correction?

Until '02, all earlier S80s (and others) suffer from ETMs going south sooner or later. The car has improved since '99 but still has its problems.
Haldex is still too new to be totally classified as "great" in my book. Better yes (no known serious issues) but I'll give that a few years. In the V70 XC, Haldex didn't appear until the '03 models showed up. As for the XC 90, they too are also too new IMO but considering the S80 trans with a chain drive bevel gear device, I'd hate to think what might happen if one ever goes off-roading with larger than stock tires (like a guy who thinks he bought an off-road SUV). We'll see.
I'd agree in the FWD V70s, S60s (both FWD/AWD) and X40s have had the least problems overall for newer Volvo models.
