Power door lock problems S70

My 98 S70's front power door locks seem to be broken and I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem or knows of a fix. The drivers side door lock broke when I had my arm on the sil and my passanger pressed the unlock button.. I heard a snap and now the power lock will lock the door only, it will not power unlock the door. This was ok for a while since if you unlock the drivers door with the key and turn twice it unlocks all doors. Except that yesterday as I was doing this somsoen pulled on the door handle on the front passanger door and now it has the same problem. I took the door appart, but the solenoid arrangement is not easy to see and I can't for the life of me see how it's supposed to work, it's not like others I have seen... Help.
