Probably a vacuum leak.

The most common place for pin-holes is in the hard line under the battery tray. Remove the battery and tray and you will find the line.

You can just cut out the damaged piece and attach a new one by using a 1" piece of flexible vacuum tubing with an ID that will fit snugly on the line's OD as a connector between the remaining hard line and the replacement hard line on both ends.

I've done this twice and had good results. Mine was damaged when I overfilled the battery and overcharged it, expelling electrolyte. Great place for a vacuum line.
