760 to 850? Out of the frying pan and.... 850 1997

I considered a 760T for my kid, I was scared off by the RWD experts here because of the plethora of power gizmos. Swedish electronics don't get better with age, they get worse. The 850-70 has even more in the way of electronics to fail.

BTW, since the 850-70 turbos have a stronger engine block, a forged crankshaft, hardened connecting rods, pistons and sodium-cooled exhaust valves, I'd expect the engines to last longer than the naturally aspirated versions. The drivetrains of the 850-70 turbos aren't usually all that much of a problem, it's the electronics, electrics, suspension and AC system that drives owners crazy.

How about a 740T or 940T without all the power gadgets?

Or a Camry?
