Pollen Filter/ Cabin Filter 850 1994

If the plastic insert is rectangular, then you probably had one before but it was removed and never replaced. If the insert is oval shaped then you will need the rectangular insert first. I put one in my 93 several years ago and bought it from Volvo of Houston. The kit mentions having a dealer reprogram the ECU but when I talked to a Volvo mechanic, he said it wasn't neccesary to reprogram it. Works fine.

I would recommend putting one in. I try to remember to replace mine once a year. They catch a lot of crude.
