Flashing AC lights V70-XC70

Had identical problem (same age vehicle) a few months ago. Dealer diagnosed faulty cabin temp sensor. Replaced at a cost of £140. However when I looked at the replaced part the actual sensor has a small fan in front of it which draws in the air. The fan is clearly susceptible to intake of dust which stops the fan. Try a vacuum at the small grill on the facia. Good luck.
