In my earlier post I mentioned a transmission service urgent msg. The car was still driving fine. Well, this week all hell broke loose. It started to shift hard through the gears, now it is stuck in 3rd gear.The geartronic is also stuck in 3rd. I have a appt. at a dealer tomorrow. The car has 75K on it, so the warranty is over. Any suggestions on getting Volvo to cover the expense, if the transmission needs to be rebuilt, since this is a common problem? Dave
