I let our turbos run for 30 seconds or so while I turn stuff off and set the windows for the parking situation.

I have always run ANY of our cars about two minutes if I stop at a rest area from speed. This time usually allows my wife to spend about the same time to take a break in the lady's room as I spend in the men'a room!

We idle our turbo diesel apparatus for 10 minutes to even temperatures if it has been driven hard.
