S 70 with manuel transmission S70

What market are you in? In U.S. the base S70 was available with a
manual in 1998 model year. I'm not sure about the 2000 model year
(but I don't recall seeing them).

By the way, the clutch would cost more to replace then the turbo
(and turbo failure rate is probably lower then clutch failure rates).
No need to avoid the turbo models out of fear of engine
reliability -- the engine and turbo are quite robust (turbo-charging
is one thing the Sweeds do really well).
