i know this may sound stupid...but i hope it's not in 3rd gear start, as in winter mode?

my tranny was in limp mode for a while, ran 1/4 @ 16.5 sec 85 mph...very strange, it should be under 15 and 94 mph. nothing was mechanically wrong, just was in limp mode... hopefully it's fixed after resetting the codes...but hope u find out if it's the tranny problem (sounds more likely), or an engine problem. last thing to look for is maybe (but unlikely) something with the awd system...allowing way too much slip..
