850 loosing power and resonating abnormally during low end torque 850 1995

my volvo 850 turbo with 95000 miles seems to be loosing power in the low gears and not getting the turbo pickup that i used to get ..it seems that once I slow down and come to a stop..the car has a hard time getting the pickup from stop and seems to be making irregular resonating sound from the exhaust or from under the car in low gears..i get more sound than the power that i used to ...once i get the pickup it seems to be ok..but seems like something is preventing the turbo from full boost....i know its hard to figure this out over the net but I thought someone could point me the right direction to what to look for..are there particular codes that the car might be putting out for this kind of a problem..

i changed the trany fluid couple of weeks ago and seems to get a little worse since then...

any hints would be helpful..otherwise i might have to take it to a dealer for full car diagnostics...
