Oxygen sensor replacement

I've been told by dealer that both rear and front O2 sensors have to be replaced at 70,000 miles whether they've gone bad or not. I just replaced my front O2 sensor for my '96 850R (it went bad at around 60,000). I don't see a valid reason why the sensors need to be replaced if they're still doing OK at 70K. I'm hesitant to replace my rear O2 sensor if it's still doing OK. Has anybody ever heard about the reason why the sensor has to be replaced at 70K? I can understand the reasoning for a timing belt, but not for O2 sensors. Thanks.
