adjustable cam gears 850 1994

Current wheels: 94 850 5spd wgn B5234 20 valve. Mods include free flow air intake, ExtrudeHoned intake manifold, Random Technologies free flow cat, SuperSprint exhaust,Amsoil 10w-40 and Mobil 1 synthetic gear lube in the tranny. The engine doesn't breathe hard even at 80mph. It revs like crazy, but the increased revs have done little for low speed acceleration. I would like to try adjustable cam gears to see if the torque curve could be moved around a bit to improve acceleration. Has anyone tried this? I would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks in advance. David
