adjustable cam gears 850 1994

The gears that you presently have now are slightly adjustable (slotted) BUT I'd be sure to mark their current position before trying to move them just in case you end up going backwards.
I think that you'll find that you might gain top end but lose low end, and visa-versa depending on which way you go. That's why newer HP engines (like the S60R) have them electronically controlled through solenoids.
