irractic idle 850

my '96 850 t5 has a problem when it is idling the revs drop to around 500rpm the whole car shakes and then the revs return to normal. it only last for about a second and happens when the car is hot or cold!!!

it happens so intermittently i can't repeat the fault for a volvo dealer, it only happens while idling, there are no fault codes and the car has just has its 50,000 mile service which included oil & filter, atf flush, fuel filter, spark plugs and air filter.

but this was happening even before the service

please can somine help it is so annoying. thanks
