Remanufactured AC Compressor S70 1998

I need to replace the AC compressor on my 1998 S70. Does anyone have any experience with remanufactured AC compressors from a place like www.autoaircompressors.com? I'm not excited about paying approx. $400 for new one.

Also, is there a way to identify which manufacturer built the compressor that is currently installed? I've looked at the compressor from the top and bottom and can only find numbers stamped into the side.
