idle speed back to 1000 rpm! 850

Dear All

I cleaned out my idle air motor a couple of weeks ago and this slowed down the idle speed to 850 rpm. After a long run yesterday the car now idles at 1000 rpm.

Should I clean out the idle air motor? Or is it slowly disfunctioning?

Usually I wouldn't bother but as I like this car so much I want to keep it in good order.
