Won't change gears 850

I just had my 1995 850 repaired (turbo drain tube seal was leaking). That was four days ago, and I've only driven about 15 miles since.
Today I pulled out of my driveway and the engine warning light came on, along with the winter mode arrow, which is flashing.
There's only one gear, and the car won't accelerate.
Could there be some connection with the seal replacement?
I'll have to nurse the thing to the other side of town in the morning and leave it at the dealer's, and, as you can see by my login, I live in a very hilly area.
