ABS modules: which module work with 1998? V70-XC70 1998

As far as my 1998 goes, I have gotten several opposing answers. (Even two of the Volvo dealers have opposing answers.) I'm looking at a parts book myself to figure it out (I hope).

When you say the new ones are still failing, do you mean just yours or you have heard from others. Admittedly, I have been focusing on problems with the 1998 x70 (and that's almost a full time job by itself :-), but I didn't catch wholesale failures of the later ABS modules. (If true, that really stinks!)
