Passenger lock sticking

Hello all. My passenger door lock is sticking slightly. It still locks, but it doesn't go down all the way inside. I have tried both key and remote and it still won't go down all the way. Trouble is that the security system won't engage (ie the little red light doesn't come on) I guess because of the door?

Any ideas on lubricants to try on the lock? Read somewhere that you need special lubricants for locks.

Any help appreciated.
