Intermittant Turn Signal & Hazard Signal Failure V70-XC70 1998

Hopefully someone can help...

Very Intermittant problem that when it occurs if you put on the turn signal the light on the dash stays lit and does not blink. The light on the headlight also is on but not blinking. If you try and put the hazard lights on they will not function (don't switch on). After shutting the car and restarting the problem goes away but comes back after driving a while.
