Computer option: trailer wiring V70-XC70 2001

I think that THAT person was mistaken as I've installed both OEM and aftermarket trailer hitch wiring on new V70s (every year to date, being a dealer tech) and have never needed to DL any SW or program anything to make the trailer wiring function. It just wires in and works.
