Navigation system reset 2002

I know it's under warranty, and I'm about to take it back.. I was just wondering if there was a quick, easy fix, like some combination of commands that got you to a hidden system control menu. After I originally posted, I concluded that the system is in a re-boot loop and there probably is no easy fix -- the only physical control available to the user is a DVD eject button, and none of the menu comands normally available provide for a system reset.

I'll post back after the dealer does his thing --- which I suspect may be a replacement system.
