Need A/C Help! 850

I recently had to have the compressor and associated bits replaced on our '94 850 Turbo wagon. Since then the air has worked only rarely, mostly not at all. My mechanic has checked the system and pronounced it well; that the problem is in a sensor somewhere, and he decided to take the next month off without seeing to the problem. With the help of my Haynes manual I managed to retrieve two codes, 2-1-1 (drivers side damper motor position sensor open or shorted) and 3-2-4 (floor/defrost damper motor active too long) Is this a result of the compressor change not being done properly or just a completely unrelated problem? By the way, the A/C will not even work in manual. Thanks for all help!
Ken
