Automatic sticks in park (shift-lock overide doesn't work, only percussive maintenance) 850 1994

My shifter always stays locked in park when I start, but I've always been able to get it out of park with the override switch. I've just gotten used to shifting this way. No offense, but I hope I don't get your problem. If you're brave enough to take on the project yourself, it sounds like the micro-switch is bad.
