Replacing Mass Air Sensor C70 1999

"the car would require a software download to recognize the new sensor"

------------------

I've heard the same comment. (I don't remember where, though. Probably on this board.) I'm highly skeptical of this claim. I can't imagine why replacing a sensor with a like part would require new software, unless the new part has been updated significantly.

I would try putting the part in on your own. It *looks* easy enough. If you do it yourself, please report back on your results.
