'e' code lenses V70-XC70

You don't say which year Volvo you have, but it's likely that 2000 and previous are DOT, 2001 and newer are e-code. Look on your lenses: ecodes have an E, E2, E4, etc etched into the glass. DOT's have an indication for USDOT, ANSI or the like.

borton volvo has them; I got mine from Precision Volvo (978.948.7778) for $120 each, Volvo OEM. There are pacific rim knockoffs out there for less, but I don't know anything about them.

E-code systems focus a higher percentage of the light down toward the road, unlike the wan, fuzzy glow of Volvo's useless DOT implementation, which also sends at least half it's light into the tree and skies.
