Are you reading the value off the side of the tire? If so, that is
the max pressure the tire manufacturer says to use and is a warning.
The proper pressure is set by the vehicle manufacturer. You can
find it on the Volvo gas cover. On the cover, you see two sets of
numbers. The high numbers are probably what they used when they set the
fuel economy. The alternate numbers are the real-world numbers that
you should use.
