Front brakes on my 2000 S40 S40-V40 2000

Does anyone have experience with the Power Slot rotors? And what pads are you people using with them? I need to replace my front rotors and pads and I'm thinking of going with a pair of Power Slot's. IPD suggests using the Mintex pads with these rotors but I have a pair of new Volvo pads. Also I've seen these EBC Greenstuff kelvar pads advertised, I'm just wondering if the additional cost of these pads would pay for themselves in longevity over the OEM pads?
