We used to have this problem intermittantly...it always happened when we were in a hurry. Wait a few minutes and it would start again. Diagnosed O2 sensor after illiminating the possible battery discharge (not charging due to bad alternator, etc.) problem. Are you getting any fault code read-outs from your ECU?
