Drove car through a puddle, now it won't start. 󞩼 850 Turbo] 850

Hi,

As it says in the subject, tonight I drove my car through a puddle that was much deeper than it looked (about a foot, maybe slightly less). I wasn't going very fast, but there was a lip which caused the front bumper to splash into deeper water, sending some (for half a second) over the headlights. I emerged from the puddle and the engine promptly stopped. I was not able to get it started, but didn't try for too long because of a terrifying message in the manual saying I might accidentally discharge the air bags. All the electrical components worked, but the engine would not start.

Anyway, my questions are: How likely is it that I severaly damaged or ruined the engine? How likely is it that, after towing it to the dealer, I will be driving on my happy way tomorrow morning? And, is this air bag thing true?

Thanks.
