96 850 AC problem 850

My 1996 850 wagon's AC works fine when ambient temperature is less than 98 degree, whenever the temperature rise above 100+, it only blows warm air.

Also, I can hear a "click" sound at occasion when I push the AC button to on.
Talked to an independent AC shop by recommendation, but it has a 3 week backlog. The lady there told me it is probably low in refrigant, advised me to buy a recharge kit and hope it up to the low pressure service port (the cold one).

I located the low pressure line near the fire wall, but did not see any port that will allow me to connect the test gauge at all.

I anyone has a diagram, please kindly post it here or email me @SNLDEPAUL@WMCONNECT.COM. Thnaks

Susan
