Broken weld on drivers door hinge V70-XC70 1998

Yes, it happened on my 850 Turbo wagon...seems it's a commnon issue...I learned a lesson to lube moving parts like the door periodically. However, if you got away with $100 you did well. The repair shop I took my car to advised me on taking it to a reputable "collision repair center." They wanted almost $800 to repair it. Need-less to say, I didn't repair it. I lived with it for awhile and then sold the car...afraid it hurt my resale value. If you let it go though the door will eventually open all the way around and not stop where it's suppose to, according to my mechanic. You did good...pat yourself on the back.
