brake squeal 850

95 855T - Just did my brakes, resurfaced all 4 rotors, new Wagner Thermoquiet pads all around. I used those aluminum shims with hi-temp 3m adhesive on the fronts with the red silicone goop. The rear pads have an integral noise suppressing plate and I added the red goop also. Not even a hint of squeal so far. $89 for the parts and rotors turned from O'Reilly's- did the work myself. It also fixed clunky noises that I thought were suspension related - I guess loose pads were making the noise- which would explain the hideous squeal I had previously. It runs luxury car quiet now.

To start cheap, you may want to try the aluminum shims and goop first.
