adjustable cam gears 850 1994

You have found my biggesdt problem with the car. The problem is that in the automatic transmission, the first gear is geared WAY too high. I can get up to about 80 kph in first gear. This results in very pathetic performance in the city from a dead stop, even with a turbo. My 90 740 Turbo (a standard) is geared a lot lower in 1st and it seems to have a ton more power in the city, but the 850 has a lot more on the highway.

I certainly hope that Volvo has changed the gearing ratio in the transmission by the time I get a new car.
