Window Glass on S70 S70 1999

Does anybody know whether the rear window glass has anything in it's construction to block ultraviolet or infrared light for the purpose of keeping the car cool in the sunshine? I ask beause I am trying to use a capacitive antenna on the glass -- works great on my 1993 850 and poorly on the 1999 S70 with no apparent reason why.
