Leak tester 850 1994

There is a dye that is visible under a black light that AC techs use. I've heard that the evaporator leak will appear under the passenger dash area. If the leak is slow you may want to try the Interdynamic sealer. I tried the sealer kit (metal and rubber) and recharged it myself over a year ago and so far the AC has been okay. A recharge would last <6 months before I used the sealer. Total cost was about $50; sure beats >$1200 evaporator replacement!!!
