IPD or Eibach S80

Hi,
I was wondering whether or not anyone could tell me which springs are better, IPD or Eibach. I had IPD springs on my 850 and like the stiffness, but they proved to be a little harsh. Don't get me wrong, I like the stiffness, but only when I am pushing it, not when I drive over a leaf in the road. Eibach springs claim to be progressive, do they really make that much of a difference? Thanks for any help.
