jack stand points S80

Jack stands are an overkill for changing your oil. I use a crude ramp made from two 10 foot long 2x8 framing lumber boards. Each board is cut to 3 pieces (2' , 3, & 5'), which are screwed together to form a set of "stairs". I just drive up and the wheels are raised 4.5 inches, which gives me enough clearance for the drain pan.

Check you drain pan capacity before beginning; Volvo's hold more oil than most cars (7-8 quarts).
